On July 12, 2022 the Opening Eucharist of the XXI General Chapter was celebrated in a very significant place for the Congregation, the very house where the Congregation was born. The celebration was in the chapel of San Benito where the newly borne community prayed, where the first Handmaids, in their free time, used to spend time before the tabernacle. This was the place where they discerned their vocation, interiorizing from Heart to Heart the words they received in the patio next to the well… That is why this place was chosen not because it is big nor because it is beautiful but because it is the place of prayer of the first community of the Handmaids of the Divine Heart.
